Every board carries a history. Every piece begins with preserving it.
Long before it becomes a serving board, knife handle, or bowl, every reclaimed skateboard has already lived a full life. Scratches, worn edges, chipped paint, and faded graphics are not imperfections to be hidden—they are evidence of movement, creativity, and years of use.
Each deck is carefully inspected before being stripped of its hardware and prepared by hand. The coloured maple veneers are revealed, cut, and thoughtfully arranged to highlight patterns that can never be recreated. These reclaimed layers are then paired with premium hardwoods, shaped using traditional woodworking techniques, and refined through hours of carving, sanding, and finishing.

Emberline takes its name from the meeting point between the rich, fire-like tones of the padauk and the fine line of colour running through each coaster.
