Turned from a single piece of highly figured maple, The Drift is shaped around the natural movement, colour, and character held within the wood.
Soft curves and a low, grounded profile allow the grain to become the defining feature of the piece. Areas of subtle figure, shifting colour, and irregular pattern move across the surface, revealing the history of the material from every angle.
No embellishment was necessary. The form was intentionally kept restrained, allowing the maple itself to remain the focus.
