The Nakiri is a one-of-one kitchen knife built around the contrast between precision steel and reclaimed material.
A Damascus steel blade is paired with a hand-shaped handle made from reclaimed skateboard decks, exposing layers of colour, wear, and history within the material. Brass pins and a mosaic centre pin add restrained detail, while the sculpted profile brings the handle comfortably into the hand.
Designed for vegetable preparation, the broad, straight-edged Nakiri blade is suited to controlled push cuts and precise chopping. The Blackburl mark is engraved directly into the steel, completing a functional object intended to be used, maintained, and kept for years.
