Recycled skateboard maple creates a shifting composition of exposed layers and colour across each piece. Original mounting holes have been filled with purple resin rather than concealed, preserving evidence of the material’s former life and turning those imperfections into part of the design.
Each component is individually turned by hand, with distinct profiles that reveal the skateboard layers differently across the brush, razor, and stand. Gunmetal hardware provides a restrained contrast to the colour and movement of the reclaimed maple.
Designed for daily use and made as a complete one-of-one set, Observance carries the history of its material forward rather than erasing it.
