Interlude is a one-of-one serving board that explores the quiet relationship between movement and stillness through the contrast of natural materials.
Crafted from live-edge walnut, maple, purpleheart, and skateboard veneer, the composition is defined by flowing forms that weave across a calm maple field. Rich bands of purpleheart create a sense of movement, while the live-edge walnut anchors the design with warmth and depth. Fine accents of reclaimed skateboard veneer introduce restrained colour, offering subtle moments of contrast that reveal themselves over time.
